They were never going to catch spurs.. that was a ridiculous hope given they had Burnley and Sheff United to play.

It's about whether they can grab 6th or 7th... 8th I'd be OK with.. 1 game a week.

 

I see your logic with the 8th position, maybe it’s a case of 2 steps forward and 1 step back.

 

Not saying he isn't but we haven't got a proper striker...in some games you need someone to stick it to... I'm saying he needs replacing .. isak was absolutely ****e Today and we had no other striker.

Solanke is more likely and I'd be happy with that. He can do what I'm referring to ... solanke and isak would be a very good stable up top.

Everyone is focused on the europa league as if the entire clubs future rests on it. Let's not forget we signed Guimareas when we were 19th.. if we finish 8th so what ? We build regardless and have an advantage of 1 game a week next season.

Let’s hope Arsenal beat Man United. If Arsenal beat Man United we just need to beat Brentford even if we lose at Man U cause our goal difference is so superior.

 

Not anymore they are not

 

It's been clear for a while that Chelsea have now recovered and are a real force. I think they'll win every game they have left meaning we have to win the last 2. I don't think Newcastle will win at Old Trafford and at Brentford. The away form has been appalling and a win vs Burnley doesn't change that for me.

I'm hoping for conference league anyway....Newcastle can actually win that.... I've seen people belittle it but I can guarantee they will take it and I have the screenshots. This club has been trophyless since 1969... the conference is classed as major silverware..I'll ****ing take it.

 

Howe will **** this up I think.

 

We just need Arsenal to beat Man U.. then Brentford is in our own hands.

 

Man U have Arsenal and Brighton away either side of us. Let’s hope they play like did they at palace. If they do we’ll be ok

 

Away at Brentford is a tough one

 

Newcastle need to beat man united and put it to bed...this side seems to fluff its lines when it counts.

 

If man united land in the conference and win it while we celebrate a European appearance that would fit actually.

 

I can see us fluffing it up aswell. I’m relying solely on Man United but knowing our luck they’ll turn into prime Barca against Arsenal and Brighton. (And us)

 

Yeah let's hope man united and Chelsea **** up...howe is going to pick his mates. Hall will be dropped for example.
