    Everton are in huge trouble.

They genuinely could go out of business. Takeover has fallen through, 777 that was supposed to buy them seems to be fraudulent, but was lending them money before the takeover even happened.

So someone that wants to buy Everton will inherent the debt for that, the new stadium plus everything else….

Would that that mean they would get turfed out of the league, and 4 clubs from the championship would have to go up to make up numbers, and from the first etc, or would the prem be a 36 game season?

Dunno who he is, but he’s correct.

    They’re absolutely ****ed.

    Administration seems inevitable soon.

I doubt Everton will go into administration. But if they were to, then doing so next week wouldn't be the worst time.

They'll likely beat Sheff Utd tomorrow, leaving themselves somewhere between 11 and 14 points clear of the bottom three. Unlike with the EFL, I'm not aware that the PL have a cut-off date for when an in-season points deduction can be applied (subject to the season not being finished) - in which case, Everton could take a 9 point hit next week and still survive.

The bottom three have all been so painfully bad, I'm glad that they likely only have a few more days left in the division.

Hoping Fulham can halt the City juggernaut and give Arsenal the chance to win the title.

City for me, first team to win 4 in a row I think (maybe 5? Can’t remember the stat but if they win it they will be the first to win however many it is in a row), would be a real fairytale achievement

You have a slightly different memory of what constitutes a fairy tale than what I remember. Although I guess they did basically get a fairy godmother to waive a magic wand for them. Just in the form of the funding of a country

I reserve judgement on Pep until he manages a club that are not the best in every country he has managed in. He might be the messiah but he’s really just a very lucky boy.

Not really sure, bar Bayern, those clubs were at the time he took over the outright clear best. He’s radically improved every team he’s been near. I think his ability and influence on the modern game is absolutely unquestionable.

Yeah he must be useless which is why the best teams always want to hire him, and he’s succeeded everywhere he’s been because of money. He should sack them off and go and manage Forest Green to show everyone that he is good

Bit of an unusual situation with regards to the fans of both Arsenal and City being reliant on their biggest rivals taking points, at such a crucial stage in the season.
The City fans have probably found themselves wanting United to win today and on Tuesday Arsenal fans have the unenviable task of supporting Spurs v City.

That's wild. If I were a Spurs fan I'd definitely want to lose that game vs City.
