What have you got against Peterborough? Why do you want their home fans to suffer?

It’d be interesting to know how much chat there was with Corberan.

From what I’ve seen of West Brom this season they have been effective but not particularly fun or pleasant to watch. More of a battering ram to get the job done.

Wonder if that put them off or if they didn’t get that far in conversations.

To be fair if his style of football means there’s ’Disco dancing City’ ringing round the ground every game then he’ll have been a good appointment.

Edwards must have been another available at the time because I was just looking back through the old 'new manager' thread and a few of us were suggesting him too. Interesting that he and Corberan have been very successful with their clubs but as you say they're not the most fun managers to watch.

Expectation after just losing out this season then yes, having said that we don’t know how well the new man is going to be backed, who’s leaving, who’s coming in, it’s looking like a big rebuild and will be a very interesting summer that’s for sure.

So do don't believe anything then, It may be a struggle for me, but I'm sure with time I'll pull through and be ok.

Just because the you think we've "settled" doesn't mean the owner has.

Just a thought though, you say you was on here saying we should go for LR before we got him but are now saying we are settling with this new guy who has "no impressive points on his CV".... Just clarify, what "impressive points" did LR have on his CV when you was saying we should go for him?

    Sounds perfect
Acun isn’t bothered about league position, only how exciting the games are…

Definitely will be and I'm looking forward to it, the big rebuild was happening though even if LR stayed

Walter wasnt pragmatic enough to get promoted in 3 seasons
Tan said rosie was too pragmatic

I think we will need a lester level squad to not be pragmatic and go up
    But heyho

    We shall see

LR had kept a terrible Derby side up against all odds in one of the more impressive seasons in recent times. Even at the time I was firmly of the opinion he was the brains behind Rooney and nothing I've seen since has dissuaded me of that. He had demonstrated a strong, deep knowledge of the game and a clear idea on a style of play and how to set up a club, and had a strong affinity to our club so would be a good connective tissue between the owner and the supporters.

Walter has shown he can score and concede a lot of goals.

FFS that's ridiculous. Do they have to keep every player, every member of staff currently employed for ever? That tag line doesn't and was never intended to mean nobody leaves ever!

Definitely agree although I think the rebuild just got bigger. Always does when a new man walks in.

Think that’s a bit harsh. I’ve criticised Rosenior a fair bit but I think a job like Posh would suit him. They’re a club with aspirations to get back to the Championship, they have a lot of quality, young players with potential to develop further and they already played a form of possession-heavy football this season. Peterborough are quite good at bringing in and nurturing young talent which I think would suit Rosenior and he would suit Peterborough.

Rosie hardly made us defensively solid this season.

How do you know there are 15?

There could just be you and one full time multi account user who pretends to be everyone else.

Oh, and me, but that’s what I would say isn’t it?

    Depends what you call 'expansive:.
I didn't see a lot of them but last season from what I saw Luton brushed teams aside with pace, power, attacking football.
Ipswich have done similar this season (with a bit less physicality).

No, he made us more attacking leading us to score 68 goals, one of our highest tallies in the Championship.

A Derby supporter posted similar when Rosie was favourite to take over us. He elaborated he said it will cure any insomnia City fans are suffering with.

Imagine how many we’d have got if we didn’t sit back and protect slim leads
