If you say it often enough, it may become fact. There are many on here who really enjoyed the football last season, some as good as I’ve seen in 50 years of watching City. There are numerous posters saying similar and it’s pretty disrespectful pretending these opinions don’t exist

Some of the football was fantastic, I've not seen anyone disagree with that, but a fair chunk of it was absolutely awful and boring. The home form on a whole was poor and the decision makers at the club think the same so LR has gone.

I know some didn’t and respect that view totally, as you should respect that a lot of long standing supporters have said they have really enjoyed the football this season.

Many have disagreed that any of the football was fantastic. Some have begrudgingly pointed to two games.it feels like they are having their moment after being called dinosaurs all season!
Yep, LR has gone, and we’ll be there next season backing the new manager, which is what we should do. I wonder where the anti Rosenior’s will stand if we don’t win the first half dozen games 5-0?

Personally I’d be happy with 4-0

let's see what team we have before we start to consider where we should or shouldn't be next season - first we need a manager, then he needs to determine who we want to retain and who we don't and who wants to leave from the existing squad - then we will need to see who we bring in - then and only then will we have any view about how competitive we are going to be - if we have a good squad and we are not performing then for sure the manager is going to be challenged - however, if we have a weak squad which is not performing thenI suspect it will be Acun that gets challenged before the manager does - this season I would suggest Acun delivered but ultimately Rosie didn't, bearing in mind where we were in December - next season is a completely new ball game because of the huge churn in the squad, whoever is in charge will need to hit the ground running and get the team playing well straight away otherwise Acun is going to get it from both sides, especially those saying that Rosie shouldn't have been sacked in the first place

While I get a chuckle out of how much you feel the need to direct specifically to me, I hate to break it to you, the game really isn't that different in person or on TV. In fact in person you can at least sing, get banter going, and all the rest to keep yourself entertained. At 3 in the morning as the second half is starting, sat on the couch, it's really just you and the product out on the pitch.

Perhaps rather than trying to make it an 'us v them' or dare I say 'us v him' mentality of in person v on tv, perhaps consider that people can be bored out of their mind watching on TV or in person, and entertained on TV or in person, and that the medium has a bit less to do with it than you think.

One is what he experiences one is what I experience, so clearly watching on TV is wrong.

Haha, no, he did a night in the first club I dj’d in and he didn’t bother dressing up for the occasion! Shorts and t-shirt and sandals if I remember rightly, but that was circa 94.

This seems to be the case, when they say they have had loads of applicants why is he top of the list? One thing I've noticed from checking this forum is that there are a lot more people supporting the owner on here than I've seen elsewhere, but then I remember there always those that supported the Allams too so I suppose it's a diff your cap to the money man and your betters kind of thing, similar to how to people up north vote for the Tories

I don't think I've seen anyone particularly pleased by the new gaffer. Irrespective of what you thought of LR, we seem to be happy to sacrifice points for entertainment which is a tad puzzling when it's points which get you promoted.

    I enjoyed it too.

    It’s very subjective.

Can’t say I like the ‘we’re nearly there and this is why he’d be great’ stuff from the club.

Pointless if it is nearly done, and gets some peoples hopes up if it falls through (about any manager by the way)

Ha, I think that dressing up has unfortunately crept into club culture. I went to watch my mate DJ at Fabric and he very nearly didn't get through the door for wearing an Ipswich shirt and grey joggers.
