Playing devils advocate my guess is their logic is that you can’t overcome parachute payment teams by being safe. it’s their sword to die on
Looks to me like typical city. We've got the best owners ever only to watch them slowly feck it all up. Having said that we were crap at home and taking the high press risk on and breaking out only to.pass it all the way back to the keeper. Reports of acun leaving his seat obviously pissed off. So this cant come as a surprise. Valter looks like just another slustky and much as we loved him he wouldnt have got us up. Personally i am happy with that though. Great entertainment and you can shove the premier league up your ass
I think Rosenior should go to a League One team like Posh and try to get them promoted. Darren Ferguson has bottled League One play-offs back-to-back this year and last.
I hope Rosie doesn't rush into the wrong job, not sure Sunderland fans have the patience to allow for his process.
Rosie should go plymouth No pressure Potential Nice south coast living Sunderlands a posioned chalice
Im absolutely willing to give Walter (or whoever it is) a chance. What’s the point in doing otherwise? We all want the best for the club regardless who is the manager, even if we differ in opinion on who that should be. Problem is, my expectations for next season under Rosenior was at least the play offs. Due to the current situation with the squad I think we’d have had to give whoever was the manager around 10 games to get it settled next season. After that, if we aren’t seeing progress towards the top 6, it’s going to be tricky to have more patience. If you backed Rosenior because you were happy with the progress you saw, it’ll be hard to get rid of that nagging feeling that if things don’t seem to be coming together - the wrong decision was made. Fingers crossed that won’t be a problem and things look good as we head towards winter.
I went to the Villa/Chelsea game. It was Ipswich not Plymouth though. I was at Plymouth. 600 mile round trip & the cost of a dog sitter for the day. The Villa do was organised before Sky ****ed us about with KO. It was a celebration for my son-in-law, family, far more important than any City game. I watched the City game on Sky go & celebrated vociferously each time we equalised.
Well maybe he is saying that they took a risk on LIam and essentially it worked out, but, did not quite get them to where they wanted to be in terms of playing style, so now he/Acun are prepared to take another risk with Walther with the same or better results from a points total but with more entertainment and not in as "pragmatic" a style as Liam.
