Has there been any mention of what’s happening with Liam’s assistants etc? Does the new manager decide that when appointed?
Sacking Liam after finishing 7th was the wrong decision but I haven’t put tens of millions into the club and wanting a return. Acun’s comments regarding the football are not incorrect though. April aside it was boring live. What I noticed as I couldn’t get to as many live games this season as I normally do so ended up watching a lot of games on my TV (via laptop) I thought we looked good and composed. But then when watching us live and seeing the whole pitch the play was so slow, safe and pedestrian. Liam clapping every time the ball was played backwards. Shouting at players if they lost the ball whilst trying to take chances in the final third. He didn't let our attacking players play freely until as the rumours suggest he was told too. I wish Liam all the best though.
I doubt it, different calibre of manager this time. By that I mean Walter hasn't had the career/reputation that Martins had. Martins wanted a job to line his pockets so asked for a fortune, turned us down and went to the middle east. I don't think Walter will have those options or that mindset.
No truth in the links with Mark Robins? I’d rather it was him, at least he’s tried and tested in this league.
Unfortunately I don't see why he would come here - he knows Coventry inside out and will have them challenging again next season. Cooper might be a more realistic - and preferable to Walter - option IMO
I've not even bothered putting socks on I'm so underwhelmed. Mind you I'll back whoever it is once they start amd given them a fair crack of the whip.
