Jesus he was doing what was asked improving the Team the attacking started to come it does not all just happen over night only an idiot would think that, it was a project Acun stated that if i rermember he and Tan both said 3 years to get there but they give LR a lot less.
This is brilliant news. So we can take it from that that the preferred candidate won't be an inexperienced maverick who has failed twice in a low quality league but an experienced head with a proven track record at our level and above. Excellent. The future looks rosy. Maybe that's a badly chosen phrase though.
People also go on about players going to see the people upstairs, but who was it because Coyle and Greaves as Captain and Vice Captain obviously wanted him to stay and they would also be representing the other players not just themselves so could also see the improvement and squad mentality had improved greatly with LR so they obviously disagreed with the decison to. This happening has greatly increased the prospect of Greaves leaving i don't think he would have bothered if he was 100% going he might have stayed for the season they had been aiming for if LR was here, this season was just a bonus were we was in the position to get into the play offs on the last day. And that is what probably made the toys fly out of the pram not getting there to early when we was not ready with the £ signs flying around at dizzy heights.
We could really do with bringing in some free transfers and him along with Willock would be good additions.
It's like some people on here haven't listened, or for some reason choose to ignore, what Acun has been saying since joining us and what he so clearly said in his recent interviews! (meaning about why Rosenior was sacked, what his ambitions for the club are, etc). Or are they just viewing him as a liar? It's crystal clear what he's been saying, and it's so easy to comprehend (whether you agree or not)
I always thought Bernard was a liability with us. Made me nervous when he played. Jones = Rolls Royce Greaves = Porsche Bernard = Something from Whacky Races
Looking at Tim Walter’s team they averaged close to 2 goals a game and played attractive attacking football. What’s not to like.
I’d happily win 1-0 boringly every game and win, than be ‘entertained’. For me, a lot of the pleasure from football comes before and after games. During games I’m typically pretty stressed out After the game, basking in the win. Before the game, dreaming of the win. If we’re losing 3-2 every week, for me, that is not entertainment but to each their own etc.
Under Rosie we scored 68 conceded 60. Pretty poor defensive record for a team finishing 7th and we didn’t score many goals.
