Football insider saying Mark Robins, which would be fab. https://www.footballinsider247.com/hull-city-plotting-new-manager-move-for-mark-robins-sources/
If you read it again he was referring to him appointing Rosey to keep us out of league 1, not calling Rosieball league 1 football. Clearly it wasn't
He stated the problems arose following the Jan recruitment if you listen to the Humberside interview. The contract was done before.
Which is why i asked earlier if LR was not given the players in jan even though we was 7th could or would he have got into the play offs with the players he had Acun was obviously happy with him hence the new contract, maybe should left well alone let him carry on as he was because there was obvious improvement before all these new players.
Yeah that still doesn’t wash with me. It’s one of two things 1) The bloke is massively indecisive and acts in the moment. Not really a great culture builder in my opinion for a football team 2) He was happy enough to back him but why not wait till after January. What prompted the contract being offered in the first place when there was decent time left on it
That's my issue it's not as if the style changed just we dropped out of the playoffs but according to Acun it was nothing to do with league position. He also said that if promotion was gained that would have given Rosenoir another year but its down to playing style not position. He contradicted himself a couple of times
He also said if we never got promoted then that means we are not ready and it was a long term project, maybe he meant long term project because we won't have a manager here long enough to complete it.
I really don't want to see Allsop with a lob on. Or, indeed, any keeper in that condition, to be honest.
