I'd like O'Brien. Him, Neil and Ekwah rotating as the midfield 2 would be good. He's not a specialist defensive midfielder that people want though and he'll be expensive, which is why Boro aren't signing him.
If we get the proper CDM in place, then we have Rigg, Jobe, Ekwah and Neil competing for the '8' role. Out of those, I would rather lose Ekwah.
He's the type of signing we've been making so would make sense. Young, good youth international pedigree. Got to remember this season was his first real full season playing mens football, so it's no surprise he dropped off. Would add a quality and a bit of bite to our team
Jobe scores goals and is almost guaranteed to improve. Would need a very good fee to consider selling him. I really like Ekwah but if one from that group had to go I think it would reluctantly be him.
Boro are not exercising the 1.5m permanent signing of Sam Greenwood from Leeds. Despite upping his game against is he's had another disappointing season and his career seems to be declining
Im in agreement here, the kid has a lot of talent but until we know where his best position is he is a bit of a luxury that we simply can’t afford in the team. Most teams would struggle get into a rhythm when we have a player moving into 3 different positions during some games. When he plays up front he is constantly dropping deep and doesn’t get back into position quick enough. Behind the striker his first instinct seems to be to turn his back to goal, which I’m sure will change in time. We need to work out his best position and stick to it so he can improve.

I respect your opinion mate. I think it's important though, to take into account the fact that Jobe's only 18. By the time he's Ekwah's age he'll be much more the finished article and worth a lot more when we eventually sell him.
