Allsop has only been lobbed once Goalkeeper's main priority is to protect his goal Not to start doing what other players try to do.
We’ll be playing 1-3-6, unless we’re losing then we’ll properly attack. Can’t wait. Off to get DBT embroidered on my trackie
I agree - I was being sarcastic - I think we've reached the part of the cycle that has Rosie as the best manager we've ever had, the only manager that can possibly get us to the Prem and every other manager is ****e - some haven't reached the acceptance stage yet, they're somewhere between denial and anger
Im not debating any of that though. Whilst I disagree with changing a manager who has overseen progress, Acun is entitled to take that decision. I think it’s a bigger gamble than sticking with Rosenior, others don’t. My point was the inference that we’d have been jumping up and down in anger if Grant was in charge and didn’t get us in the play offs. I said I wouldn’t because there was still progress. It’s unfair to say that people were only angry because it’s Rosenior. Some people were frustrated that throwing attacking players at it in January didn’t yield results, some people were more cautious and thought boosting one area on the pitch is more complicated. Ultimately it comes down on where you stand on the progress Rosenior has made and whether the home form and the football on display was enough. I thought the progress was enough, regardless of the manager involved.

I saw all the matches on Tiger+ except Norwich away and a few matches I saw live There was too much passing back and forth at the back. Most teams responses to that was to get into their defensive shape and wait for City to come towards them. When we did we usually didnt have any way through. When City played differently and passed to our midfield and strikers (when we played them!) we were fantastic. We dont need a wholesale change of attitude We just need to pass forward more than we have been doing
