You cant compare ipswich to his style

Ipswich are coached so well, its a few years in the making
They are able to conserve energy due to how in sync the players are with their press

 

I don’t think he will. For all his knocks Allsop is quite good on the ball. I think he would see that his decision making does fit in with how he plays.

I do also think he would see how he commands the area and shot stopping and decide against it. But I see similarities in what Allsop is good at to what Walter would potentially look for.

 

Backs up the purchase of Ryan Giles then, he's exactly that kind of full back.

Philogene, a bit less so.

I really need to delve into him more as I only watched the Schalke game last night. I’m only also really willing to do it if we sign him up as well but in practice I think he’s able to do it

 

Jones looks comfortable enough on the ball but from what I saw in that Hamburg game, Walter likes both centre-backs to essentially do what Greaves is quite good at which is dropping the shoulder when pressed and then surging forward.

Unless you’ve surveyed everyone on leaving, and then done that several times over the course of many games to get comparator figures then you don’t have any stats to prove the games were ‘boring and tedious’ FACT.
