This is against Eintract Braunschweig, who did exactly that in this game. They were struggling with injuries so tried to play counter attacking and stacked their defensive third to prevent Hamburg playing through them. Hamburg won 2-1.

 

Can see why Acun would want Giles in such a team.

The Championship is classed as the 6th best league in the world and for good reason, i would go as far to say it is alot harder and more of an endurance then the other leagues above them, the bundesliga 2 is not anywhere near the quality of the championship niether is the quality of the players, the strength of the teams in that league is not as strong by a long distance as the championship so to compare Walter to Rosenior is not a fair comparison at all.

Now Walter may be very successful here depending on the backing he gets but he also going to be under a lot of pressure straight from the off he will have 1 season and if he fails he will be gone maybe even sooner if he has a very bad start after listening to Acun and i suspect this is the road the club will now travel down, lets make no bones about this he is also listening to other people and has to answer to some it is not our club it is his as he said.

The endurance, fitness
Less rest time etc
