Moyes at West Ham reminds me of Bruce at City. Both the most successful recently at each club respectively but both dinosaurs in the game. The 2012-13 season when we went up via autos, we were the lowest-scoring team in the top 12. Bruce would put defenders in midfield if we were winning 1-0 and bring all the attackers on if we were losing.

The point was that despite him being our most successful manager, he was fairly one-dimensional, especially regarding tactics. The same can be said for Moyes. Moyes has won West Ham a European trophy and guided them to decent mid-table finishes but he’s a one-dimensional coach as well.

Harry Kane goal scoring records galore. What could go wrong? At last, a meaningful medal. A headline I read summed it up "Harry Kane scores penalty but Bayern lose" How, just how, does a player who scores 44 goals in season win nothing. Only more personal glory.
