Thanks. Interesting. And exciting prospect. I wouldn't worry too much about what might happen should we get to the PL. It's nowadays a big ask for anyone, but maybe we can get excited on the journey now. And anyway our squad would be unrecognisable were that to happen. And Iif it were to happen I'm thinking Spurs from what you've said, win some lose some, rarely boring! What continues to concern me more is the scale of rebuild we now need. Same whether we still had Rosenior or this new guy. But probably more so now as we have very few players on our books that fit into the mould described in your analysis (Omur the obvious exception) and very very to no "brute force" (power, physicality) you mention at the end.
From a Hamburger SV fan this is what they had to say: I don't know your squad, our problems were a good 6 and good CBs with the ball. What killed us were Individual errors by our CBs, our best CB got banned for doping. If it wasn't for that we would've been in the Bundesliga right now.
In terms of stability And past success Cooper is by far the most qualified candidate Got playoffs with 2 diff teams and knows english football like the back of his hand
Good to see after the very dramatic posts you made yesterday you've moved onto positive thinking about the new manager and season.
Does LR have a similar goal/game record than Mr Attack Attack Attack Hamburger? I think he does. Sort of ****s on the argument. In a less competitive league too
Hes not shota 2.0 But he ultimately failed getting their equivalent of southampton or leeds up 3 times And he was also sacked mid season with stuttgart in 2nd div so 4 times technically?
Walter Disney know how to get promoted? Hope this doesn’t turn out to be a ‘be careful what you wish for’ scenario for many on here. I would have preferred to have given LR a bit longer but can also see where Acun had had enough. TWT
The point was that your first sentence and Arteta / Arse have little to no relevance to us! Acun has concluded that, in spite of the promises from Rosenior of what would come when he joined and again last summer and subsequently, he no longer has faith in Roseniors ability to deliver the style of football he wants to see. Each to their own opinion but for some of us it's very easy to agree with Acuns conclusion as we've basically been saying the same for many months (a year or so even). It's as simple as that. I don't see why some people need to complicate it, compare it to other clubs that aren't us, suggest we go support someone else, or whatever.
I doubt it. During his managerial career, the average goals per game is 3.27 which is ridiculously high. I don't know Liam's but I highly, highly doubt it's anywhere near that.
It doesn’t matter who wished for what, Rosie didn’t get sacked because a few of us on here didn’t always agree with his football. He got sacked because the guy that pays his wages didn’t like his style of football.
