..how many more seasons are we going to have to put up with a 38 year old, who has spent the previous 20 years playing as a winger, to be our creative spark in the middle of midfield? how many more lessons from barca is it going take? get it ****ing sorted. our midfield is completely and utterly atrocious. not for years have i seen our midfield be so void of any creativity, technical ability or that little bit of magic. and no, sticking rooney in there isn't the solution. the sad thing is, we seem to be saying the exact same thing every season, for the past 3 or 4 years. ever since scholes was on the wane. depressing.
You need someone like Steven Gerrard in his prime, or David Silva! Surely your scouts can come up trumps? If not go all out for Wesley Snieder in January, although I believe you could get better than him. From a neutral fan (premiership neutral as I support the mighty Dagenham & Redbridge) it is so clear that your midfield is weaker than all your main rivals. Luckily you have a great manger and a fantastic strike force to help compensate. January business could possibly define your season.
Shut the hell up. Giggs is probably something like 4/5th choice MF. Who the hell do Spuds/Pool/Arsenal/Chelsea/City have as their third choice creative CM.
