Watching the highlights, some of the chances Mbappe missed - if he wasn't a World Cup winner he'd be getting stick on Nunez's level.
He's just a martial that stayed fit. I do not understand why real.are so desperate for thst when they have enough already
In as much as I don't like Kane, I will not mind him winning the champions league medal. This would show him that he wasted all his playing career at Tottenham for nothing .
You are very generous. I think he already knows that "he wasted all his playing career at Tottenham for nothing"
How old is he? I genuinely don't know, but feel like he's pretty old by now (for a footballer). Isn't he coming of retirement age soon?
He is a hell of a player. Wouldnt be right for him to retire without any major honours, as long as those honours are not earned at Tottenham, then I have nothing against Kane lifting a trophy or two. Even Shearer bagged himself a PL title, but he was smart he did it BEFORE he resigned himself to a trophyless reign at Newcastle, so the pressure was off. Its funny though, that Robert Huth has 3 PL title winning medals when players like Shearer have one, and Gerrard has zero
Further proof, if any were needed, that football is a team game. No player can do it by themselves. It's another reason I have no time for their egos, even the greats need those around them to bring them success.
Kane and Shearer are/were the embodiment of selfishness which probably accounts for the fact that they have 1 medal between them. Gerrard may not have a PL medal but he was a great team player and has a medal haul that reflects that.
Can see why think that of shearer maybe - albeit don’t agree. But couldn’t disagree more on Kane. If he was selfish he’d have stayed at spurs and broken shearers record or moved to any other prem team to do it. Instead chose to go abroad so doesn’t have to face spurs and got them a decent fee. His overral play doesn’t lead him to being selfish given the amount of assists he got
I'm not sure your point about Gerrard , I agree with 100% ... but he was definitely much more of a team player than Shearer and Kane. I think with Gerrard though, it was less about inflating the ego and more about just thinking he was better than most of his teammates... And most of them, he was.
Look not everyone can be lucky enough/nasty enough to have played at Say manutd once upon a time, Chelsea at another brief spell or city now. Some players can be great players and win very little. .however their talent might be one thing but their stinking selfish egotistical attitude is another. Kane stinks. If he scored and his team lost he genuinely seemed to not care. The more individual awards the better for him.amd he is doing the same right now at bayern. He's beating up on little side that are like playing league 1 where all he needs to is tap in a few
Putting in an appeal to take a goal from a teammate wasn't selfish at all? Swearing on his daughter's life in the process. Shocking. Not to mention his 'enough is enough ' statement during the pandemic to null and void the league when Spurs were having a poor season. Again, not selfish at all? We'll have to agree to disagree.
That’s your opinion and i highly doubt it’s accurate. I reckon you can count on 1 hand the amount of pro players that actually think that. If he was after individual awards he wouldn’t have gone to Bayern - he’d have stayed at spurs and broken all individual goal records. Love how you’re trying to blame Bayern not winning the league because Kane came in and scored 40 goals rather than the real problem which is Bayerns defence have been woeful and Leverkusons have had a brilliant season.
Absolutely it's down to their terrible form and defence. Which has been created by bayern going all out to get kane and ignoring other areas of need. He's an egotistical swinehund
