Bobby Robson wasn't a Geordie & Bruce wasn't born in Newcastle & neither were brought up on Tyneside.
This is my opinion is also an insult to the thousands of Geordies who support Sunderland..Why not just call a Skunk a Skunk...
to be honest its comforting to know my opinion means so little to you, i would hate to have been rude to someone with an ounce of intellectual capacity, i'm going out now, enjoy another day sat on your internet forum cest, much love x x
Got to agree with this, you are out of order Cest. I always enjoy reading your posts, but this is ridiculous. We could name many lads who have played , managed and supported our team, all of whom have geordie roots. Just think Stokoe for one and I would have had Bobby Robson as manager too!, he supported the 'North-East'. Yes, what Clark did was unforgiveable and there it ends. Bruce's inadequacies are nothing to do with being a Geordie, he has hit the panic button and the decisions he is currently making re selection and tactics say he has lost the plot and yes, it is probably time for him to move on .............. but not, because he is a geordie!!!
Its all about opinions but I stick by my thoughts that employing black & whites at our club have had no benefits in my lifetime. Forget Stokoe, that was nearly 40 years ago and times were different. In the last 30 years, name one black & white supporting player or manager that hasn't ****ed us over. McMoneybags can be added to that list of shame as well. It doesnt work lads and its time to rid us of another failed black & white supporting one now.
Lee Clark was a complete idiot to wear that tee shirt but in every game he played for Sunderland he put in 100%. He could not return to the club after the cup final incident but you can not say he did us harm onthe pitch, indeed he was a key part of the promotion team and I will always remember that. I will also remember what an imature dick head is was at the samw time mind you.
Agree with what a few others have said on here. He's doing a bad job at the moment but I don't think it's because he's a Geordie.
