Nobody is not wanting possession football Everybody doesnt want possession football staying in our own half
So we sacked him without anyone lined up Superb plan But hey we are the talk of the football world now acun Kudos
I thought he came across as completely crackers in that interview. LR played exactly the same way at Derby so not sure how he thought it would change.
Rosie knew play offs or bust, remained to play Allsop and his own turgid style. Glad we can now move forward imo.
It's simple. Rosenior talked a great game. He promised attacking football (remember his comments last summer?). It didn't happen, or at least not anywhere near enough, in spite of the proof being there that he had players more than capable of playing that way. After January's further backing, it was 3 wins in 13. Over the season we only won 8 at home (Birmingham and Plymouth won 10!! Those in the play off places won twice as many). Acun made it crystal clear to everyone that he wanted to see exciting football. Rosenior promised it, but didn't deliver. The abysmal showing at Plymouth might have been the final straw, but I suspect the decision was made long before then. As for people critiscising the 'One Family' bit. Come on. Acun has worked wonders off the field to give us our club back and create a feel good. Sell out crowds have had to endure home performances that were not good enough (being kind). Employees are unfortunately going to get dismissed along the way, whether that's the manager, office staff, shop staff, and players (was there the same outpouring of 'One Family' grief when numerous players have been moved on?!! Get a grip.
We got frustrated by our own team concentrating on keeping possession in our own half and not progressing up the field quickly enough
I would draw the comparison more with when Grant McCann came back and stuffed us. and Grant McCann actually won something with us. People are fickle. If the new manager comes in and we start winning games, Rosie will be yesterday’s news.
can you imagine what people would say if Acun was looking to replace Rosenior while he was still our manager?
Employed him in the first place to get us out of the relegation mire Shota left us in. World of difference between getting a team out of a relegation scrap and getting a team promoted. Rosie's tactics worked for the first, but even given the tools for the job, they didn't work for the second.
He didn't say any of that. Just said that Liam's style isn't what we want. To me that's shambolic when we've just spent 18 months implementing it across all our teams at all levels and even our sister clubs, as part of a very deliberate plan.
Youre the most fickle man on here Youll be the first to post against the new manager when bad form hits Secondly Yes we will support the new manager As we are fans of city But until he joins We can bemoan the lack of an actual plan
Thats it Theres no plan And thats whats sad This talk of brentford or brighton is bullshit We are watford And like watford When you throw enough **** at the wall It might finally stick... until it inevitably falls down
Well he was doing exactly that you don't think the managers we are interested only come an hour after sacking Rosenior do you.
Owlstalk is quite a funny read if anyone's got some spare time, usual massive attitude they have and how **** and small we are. Would be fantastic if he came here just piss there ****ish fans off.
