Its just a job... If the manager gets them promoted they get their bonuses and increased salaries... simple!
Yep ! Just had a look at his stats at Hamburg and this doesn't look like an upgrade . I'd rather have Cooper
Which bit of we were well in the playoffs and ****ed it up don't you understand - we even ****ed up the cup to a relegated side so we could focus on the play offs - what ever way you look at it, the last quarter of the season was a total **** up and of course, no matter how much every one liked Rosie as a person, no matter how much he was a credit to the club, he didn't deliver when it really mattered and Acun decided he wasn't prepared to carry on with a tactic/ philosophy that didn't deliver, fans booed when it wasn't working and ultimately list of a shot at promotion
Are other sides not allowed to improve as well? Josh Sargent returning from injury had a huge impact on Norwich's form and they produced a string of great results. We lost Delap, Philogene to injury, Seri to AFCON, and integrated a quarter of a starting XI in the space of two months. Maybe if Acun was less scattergun about his hiring and firing and recruitment we'd have had a better squad in place from the start of the season and not had to resort to last minute flashy additions?
I honestly don’t think this is a knee jerk decision, I think it’s been a long time coming. Acun has always said from day 1 he wants to see exciting football and how many times has that been delivered over Rosey’s 18 month tenure? I’m also of the opinion next season would have gone very similar to this. I’ve been saying that for awhile. A huge turnaround of playing staff will take a long time for them all to gel together and the system Rosey was using takes a long time for the squad to get a full understanding of each other both in attack and defence. I’m also of the opinion that Acun wants the likes of Tufan, Omur and Sinik playing, not training with the under 21’s or getting hooked at half time as the scapegoat for poor team performances every other week.
Why does acun think a guy who couldnt get hamburg promoted out of the 2nd div in 3 years is the man is baffling Hamburg are basically the german southampton or leeds
Yes but he's still off, so i get why he would want to, but what impact did he think he would have on Acun? Just a bit pointless. Not sure if I've heard any rumours of players not liking Rosie, aside from letting the shackles off via Tan earlier in the season?
Hamburg have had the best side in the league for about 3 years and never been promoted. They’ve been their abouts but he’s hardly pulled any trees up. It’s a no from me.
It's fine because Burnley wanted Sinik so that makes him a good signing. Not that Kompany spent £100m this year to get 24 points.
The same Kompany that identified Twine as a big player for them who everyone on here thinks is ****e.
So if its just who we want it's not a done deal like many were saying that Acun wouldn't sack Rosenoir if he didn't already have someone in place
Well we're about to go live in the next few minutes to discuss the game and all the fallout so if you want to jump in the comments/chat feel free.
