You are failing to mention the big difference ...... Cooper's had 4 (?) years experience since then !! Not saying it is or should be Cooper.
I reckon the time it took for us to get the possession game sorted especially at home in front of sell out crowds was a pill most Chairmen would find hard to swallow. For what it’s worth now I reckon Roseinior thought he had one last ace up his sleeve to prove himself right by getting us into the playoffs and who knows where but by then decisions had probably been made and when he fell short the trap door was officially pulled. Good luck to the bloke. UTT.
Just not sure it's worth the overhaul. Is that extra few years of experience worth all the upheaval? Roseniors connection with fans/area shouldn't be overstated either. If we were starting from a clean slate I'd probably side with Cooper over Rosenior. But to get rid of Rosenior mid project for Cooper seems bonkers to me
It's now come out that it's been brewing since Jan, a month after giving him a new long term deal. It's not a great look no matter how you dress it up
Watching BC 1904 podcast from this afternoon... he's convinced that our next manager will have managed on the continent... I wonder if BC knew before LR did unless held been speaking to him at length today... he said Acun is expecting the back flash from his decision.... Also interesting his comments at around 25:00 Fee for Estupinian 1.4 million !@!@!@!!!
It might not be cooper, part of me thinks acun will go back to turkey for someone. Although there’s a few posters on here that have backed cooper so it’s possible
If its Cooper, rohl, heckingbottom etc. I will be ok with it. If its some pleb from Turkey, there will be uproar.
The owner shouldn't be making transfers, it's not Football Manager. The owner doesn't pick the team, or take training so they shouldn't be doing transfers. Clubs cost an awful lot of money, I just don't understand why you wouldn't bring in someone with experience and pedigree at doing the job. You can waste so much money by getting it wrong that you can pay a recruitment director an absolute fortune and it'll still be completely worthwhile.
Or get your best mate in and recruit absolute rubbish for next to nothing and run the club on a shoe string. Said person is still at the club weirdly.
It was always a strange situation, Rosie said he was never ready. He then signed players that weren’t ready
Serious question....has he threw £10 million [insert any number you want] of personal money....or is it just made up money that is club debt, not personal debt. Obviously its real money. But who goes bust...us or him?
