There was very little sword play tbf. Didn't realise that but it's quite an achievement to have such a good historical Japanese story without it.
If it's not dubbed it can **** off, you're probably one of those pretentious "it's for realism" twats.
Nope I don't mind either. But I won't not watch something good bcos of it like Dier the heathen. Anyway, ever thought about posting something you do like instead of just constantly raging like some hormonal teen on the blob?
If I wanted to read, I'd read a book, not read a film. Why are they speaking Japanese in an English language production? And if they're gonna do that why not go the whole hog and have Anjin speaking Shakespearean as per the time period? dub it or **** off.
I don't really sit down and watch stuff, I may watch a bit, then listen to what is going on as I do something else, so foreign language films are generally out.
I can't remember the last dubbed film I've seen. Something yonks ago with Bruce Lee, maybe? Fck knows.
The Green Mile on now on ITV4. Just stuck it on in the background while doing some work on the laptop with a brew.
Is that so. Doing stuff while following a story, whereas you have to give it your full attention. Who can't multi-task?
I can watch a film and read the subtitles at the same time. It's never stopped me from watching any film, so that's a yes.
