This is why I'm cautiously optimistic they've done it now, because I don't think they would have made any move without having somebody lined up to step in. The season is over, there's a month long gap now until next season begins so presumably whomever is taking over the job will do so in the coming days.
Dear Mr Hudgell, please sack Peters and appoint fat Frank. Many thanks, TwoWrights. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine
we'd have scored more and let less in - a perfect result - but I'm no expert perhaps that's not as important as getting a high possession percentage
Was only until the end of the season I think. They want him to stay but the owner is a bit of a basket case
Me either. Turkiye are playing in the Euros over in Germany, be interesting to see if Abdush and Ozan are selected (I know Tufan has been out of the reckoning in previous Turkiye). Can't imagine we will have anybody else going? Late call up for Ryan Allsop to the England squad? Will mean that any potential Turkish shenanigans in the window will be on hold if they do well.
Well Acun's plane has landed at Paris Le Bourget airport this evening, he must fancy a night out in Paris to unwind after today's stressful events.
Current odds: Steve Cooper: 11/4 Danny Rohl: 4/1 Will Still: 5/1 Erol Bulut: 6/1 Shaun Maloney: 7/1 Emre: 9/1 Paul Heckingbottom:9/1 Graham Potter: 10/1
Aside from the fact Cooper perpetually looks like Arnie in Total Recall on Mars when his helmet breaks.... I think he would be a huge improvement (on paper)...and deliver proper attacking football.
Order of preference: Potter (No chance) Rohl Cooper For the record Liam would fit in between Potter and Rohl
Genuine question, not on a wind up... What makes everyone think Rohl is the man for a promotion push and the rebuild ahead. Did he just galvanise an already half decent bunch?
My problem with the sacking is that Liam was the perfect man to take us to the Premier League. Someone with an affinity to the club and city, someone who perfectly fit the ‘one family one dream’ mantra. He spoke well and was a good ambassador for Hull City, who brought nothing but positive praise from all corners of the media. I was scared that the day might come when we’d have to admit that Rosie perhaps wasn’t the man to fulfil the dream, scared that he wasn’t going to be the one who was stood in front of us, celebrating promotion as one big family. In the very depths of my mind, I thought that this could happen one day, but today shouldn’t have been that day.
