That is the way I feel. Had end of season resolution stay off this forum and do something useful with my life. Thats gone by the by, now, will be checking in every 5 mins to check whether we have appointed a manager/head coach and then moving to the summer transfer thread to see who we think he should sign. The Honey Do List is not going to shorten any.
Absolutely the right footballing decision. Acun doesn't want to be the owner of a mid-table Championship side. The home performances have not been good enough, and I'm not talking about the results. LR was far too cautious, and the style of play was mostly boring to watch.
Ironic that you start by saying being honest then say something absolutely untrue. The people who have said get rid have been in a small minority, the fact that they said it often doesn't make them more numerous.
9/4 now. I've just had a second go but desperately trying to find out from someone who knows Cooper before I go Nuclear on it
especially when we showed we could be an attacking threat when we put our minds to it watching the players pass it backwards and sideways in our own half was frustrating if we had attacked more we would have had three times the attempts on goal
I’ve heard this Still guy is something special, can’t say as I’ve heard of him much, other than the odd name drop. I wonder what David Moyes is up to after the end of the season? Not sure if I’d be happy with him TBH, but I was shocked with how we played under Bruce, so anything’s a possibility really.
I’ll tell you the difference, Barmby’s style of play was miles better and had no funding. He wanted a couple of players and it would have made the difference. Rosenior is more serious as been a manager long term, where Barmby was all a romance thing. Rosenior has been backed to the hilt in January and we are not better and still turning out turgid boring football. We should have had the play offs 100% won’t be talent at his disposal.
He also stated we'd have had to have doubled last year's wage bill to have been 6th, which is unlikely. I'm pretty certain we'll have outperformed our budget this year. Ultimately this decision will go one of two ways. If it's a Barmby/Bruce type scenario then the decision will justify itself. If it's a Mowbray/Beale or Eustace/Rooney type scenario than it will damage Acun's standing with supporters. He's put himself under a lot of pressure to get the next appointment right.
