If the stated above 3 wins from the last 13 games is right you may be able to see why the owner hopes a change will be for the better. No need for anyone to tell me what has happened at other clubs, the wheels falling of at Leeds etc. We had a squad that showed what it was capable of, BUT too many times underperformed. IF a few of those draws we scraped had been wins we would be sitting well in the playoff places.
Yannis, wasn't an extremist. He was just a bloke of 22 or so from Athens who had come to Liverpool to study then hung about for a year or two and got a job at the same place as me. I would like to record my thanks to Liam and his staff. I watched some fantastic football, some great goals and witnessed the return of supporters. I also saw some slow pedestrian stuff, but on balance, as I said on other threads, I have enjoyed this season and was looking forward to next season with Liam as head coach.
