Spent about €11m and we spent over 12. Not including loans obviously but that’s just a wage. We’ve got a squad filled with young lads who never get on the pitch all of whom are getting a wage. They’ll get a clean slate for those wages now and likely just loan again

Their wages were about 135% of turnover in the previous years accounts. I'd wager that went up significantly last season and it was **** or bust for them, hence his sacking.

A chunk of the wages have gone, but they're unlikely to be able to loan to the same standard again this season.

Shows the type of journo Copely is. Horrific. But I don't think SAFC has any decent journalists covering them.

The country lacks good journalism tbh.

There isn't much need for good journalism these days, a lot its online these days where it's all about getting people to open the link and ads to pop up all over the shop! People in general accept more ****e cause they not paying for it!

Across all categories of journalism these days it appears that the key is to churn out a much ****e as possible online, most of it isn't even **** read (I'm terrible for typo's but I'm not a professional writer!<laugh>) the local media would put up articles about me typing this while having a **** if they thought it would bring traffic and increase ad revenue!

Does anything actually happen if you’re over 75% though or is it just UEFA’s guideline because clubs have been well over for years and don’t seem to be punished. There was a report in 2022 season and half of the league were over 100%. There’s no way they’ve dropped their wage bill by half to hit 75% target in the last 2 seasons.

"It's definitely Maric/Still, but things could change at any moment"

Until the club confirms it I'm believing nowt

Twitter is rammed with frauds and downright bullshitters desperate for likes and clicks from supporters of every EFL club.
