Lots of us using the term knee jerk, and that may be true.....but let's be honest with ourselves theres a god knows how many page thread on here about his position that's been running for long enough and at one point or another if we're being honest I think most of us have posted on there to say get rid, I know I did after stoke. Not saying I agree with the decision that's been made now, but if we've been thinking it this long then so will acun and tan. And better now with a full pre season than waiting til mid Oct when a new boss has no time or prep to sort a squad out.
No they don't, they go where they get paid well. The Huddersfield manager admitted he had no clue what he was getting into.
Can only think not making the play offs after investing on high wage loan players plus some poor attacking home displays have cost him. I like stability and a manager steadily building but when you plough in the money you have the choice. I would imagine it will be a much bigger turn over of players in the summer which will be interesting.
Ask the fans at Forest!? I like that one. Of course the feedback would be mixed. It's a question of using understanding. Look at your comments about Potter: Chelsea sacked him. He walked out on Brighton. People's opinions will be more than GOOD or BAD. There will be reasons why things happened.
Whilst I'm sure this is emotional, there are many factors involved. Culture and saving face being one which it seems you might understand more. But then Acun hasn't got where he is today by being sentimental. Also he i'm sure has others to please (financials). This will have been carefully orchestrated. Maybe the final nail was the back to 'haven't got a clue' performance of Saturday when something was on the line.
Bloody hell. This is like when you get dumped out of the blue after things have been going well and you’ve been making plans to move in with your other half. Wtf just happened? Very sorry to see Rosie go. Was he the perfect manager? No. But he had a philosophy and a style of play that he was working towards, and when it came off it was lovely to see. I’m old fashioned enough to believe in giving managers a chance to build something, and always reference SAF taking three years to get a tune out of Man U. Acun’s just burned a hell of a lot of good will there, so he’d better have summat good up his sleeve. And if the new bloke (presuming it’s a bloke and he hasn’t poached Emma Hayes from the USA women) hasn’t got Championship experience then I won’t be impressed after the Shota and Slutsky experiences.
Had a feeling this might happen. Sounds like the Big Turk expected a playoff spot at least but to be fair to Liam he won’t be out of work long. Good luck to the bloke, UTT
Leicester's new manager had no championship experience, Ipswich manager had no championship experience...
if acun owned boro, he'd have sacked carrick well i fancy boro to be one of the favs next season. boro last their best attackers, they had to rebuild, it was very bad at first but they kept him and theyll be far better for it
