A shock and a shame, however Acun must have bigger plans and less patience, fasten your seat belts chaps. UTT.
The pressure will be immense. Autos almost the expectation, because if the replacement scrapes play offs or worse, misses, then what was the point?
You'd inevitably get very mixed feedback. Ask Chelsea about Graham Potter and they'll tell you he's useless. Ask Brighton and it'll be different. Ask Forest about Steve Cooper and the fans would say yes great, come of the players would too, but the owners would say he couldn't get results when heavily backed. Almost as if it isn't that simple.
That's a massive shock. I must admit I wasn't a huge fan of LR, think he has underachieved with the squad available this year and fully expected him to be gone mid (next) season, I never dreamt in a million years that he'd be gone so soon. And as pointed out it doesn't always go well when clubs decide to upgrade managers when actually doing pretty well and yes Birmingham and Sunderland spring to mind. Another 6 weeks and Sunderland would have gone down. Cooper, Will Still, Danny Rohl (no chance), Rene Maric, Paul Heckingbottom and some obscure Turkish manager in the mix???
Allahyar was a gift to Fener to sort out their FFP, it was a special deal and now he plays for another TR owned club, can't disagree with the rest though.
Said it on another thread.....if our home and away from had been flipped and we'd won 11 at home this season instead, I reckon there'd have been less questions about his position from the fans and acun
will still is no diff to rosie hes a manager who needs to be given time to develop the culture pointless signing
this is just a knee jerk decision with no real plan so as i said, is the new guy not expected automatic ? its okay though, we can sign a 20 year old whos barely played in 2 seasons and guarantee promotion
I’m guessing that Acun didn’t want to make it to Christmas and fire him then if we weren’t in and around the play-offs as firing Shota and looking for a replacement mid-season wasn’t ideal. Sacking Rosenior now probably means his replacement will be announced soon, probably in the next two weeks.
There is a difference between 'heavily backed' and 'told who they have signed'. Cooper worked with who the owner brought in at Forest.
Always be questioning and critical but the new owners have changed this club's mood. I see it in the city and I see it at City. I'm shocked obviously. But wait and see who they appoint and then support them.
I have a feeling Acun doesn't have a plan at all, no replacement ready. As I said it was an emotional decision effected by other parties Acun involved with, not completely Hull related.
