Wow, Acun has done so much right since he took over the club but this is an appalling decision and will not go down well, he will have lost the trust of a lot of supporters today, me included.

The only way to improve on the season Rosie had is to get promoted, so that’s the minimum expectations next season or else this move will be proven to be the disaster we already know it is.

Let's hope it's Barmby -> Bruce all over again. There was a similar outcry when local Nick was ousted.

And we just missed out on the playoffs that year too.

Though Barmby was sacked for his transfer budget comments, we don’t know what’s triggered this.

Acun will probably speak about it today.

Once the dust settles, we may realise it is for the best. He has under achieved this season with the squad he has had. There's been some awful performances, especially at home, in front of near enough full houses.

I personally think the upturn in performances/results recently meant he deserved the first 15 games of next season but it isn't our money and the new manager now has a full summer and can get their teeth stuck in to the rebuild we need with all the players leaving. Just hoping the next manager plays attacking, fast football, really don't want the current Cardiff manager Erol Bulut. Done well with them but very negative football according to their fans.

It’s harsh, but if it wasn’t Rosenior but somebody else, would people be as angry?
If we’d just sacked say, Garry Monk, we wouldn’t be feeling it like we are. Like some have said, it was the same after Barmby went. Sportstalk went mental for a bit and then we had the Brucey years.

Every team that finished above us had a better squad with maybe Ipswich the only exception. I really don’t buy into the nonsense that he should have done better with what he had.

It depends entirely on who is lined up to come in.

This wouldn’t have been sanctioned without a replacement being lined up.

Yes, but it’s a gamble we didn’t need to take now.

We’ve all talked about how it was a big job this summer - now it’s even bigger and we don’t know how it’s going to go

The last year and a half was about changing our mindset and play style. We’ve had some success and looked poised to try again.

Are we going back to the start of a project? If so it’s a gamble to change all that in one year.

It might pay off - but I’d be much more confident if we had consistency.

I think it’s a fair point, there would certainly be less emotion if it was someone other than Rosie. But from a footballing perspective, I don’t think it matters who it was, it’s just a really poor decision.

I think it’ll be somebody from Turkey or a big budget busting signing. Çağdaş Atan or Emre if it’s Turkey.

I'd include WBA in that. But most of the Leicester, Leeds, Soton and Norwich players would walk into our team.
