Done well to get to the moment where not qualifying for UEFA land next season aligns with the end of this season.
Eze and Olise play with that swagger and arrogance that prime Dele Alli had, love it. Get them here, man.
This is likely to be Palaces biggest win over United since 1972, 5-0 on that occasion and Frank O'Farrell was sacked the day after!
If Palace can keep hold of them two though and give Glasner some funds, they could be a real dark horse next season for European spots.
Newcastle will destroy Man Utd. Their front three against that Utd defence and it could be like the Spurs game.
Hence my comment about Man Utd beating them lot (it means that Citeh still control the title fight even if they don't take pts off Spurs) . But IMHO it still will count for nowt as I said the other day, the Poool will now be on the beach and not be pushing for a win at Villa.
On the contrary, I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were on Sunday. Tbh I think with the pressure of the title now gone, they are playing with freedom and seem determined to give Klopp a fitting send off. I can see them getting a result at Villa, especially as the latter have a bloody hard European game to navigate four days prior.
Tbh I think that a CL campaign would be a problem for us. No way would we be challenging to win it and it could cause us real confidence problems if or when we do what Toon and united did this season. I really hope we qualify for the Europa and actually take it seriously. Villa could really suffer in the CL next season imho
£150m on the Palace boys. £70m on a striker. 4 freebies. Bob’s your uncle. Just gimme the DoF job now I say.
I’d love the Palace boys, especially Olise but I think they’ll be too expensive. Also would they wanna leave with Glasner cooking (they’ve beaten Liverpool, Newcastle & Utd recently)
