It will be interesting to see what happens with Girona as their biggest shareholder is CFG, City Football Group, which also owns Manchester City. I believe that UEFA rules stop two clubs owned by the same person/company from participating in the same competitions, so it could see Girona losing CFG’s backing.

Totally agree about the women’s football being given so much prominence at the expense of the Championship. But hey, if we make it back to the PL, don’t forget we’ll never beat any of the top clubs, they will lose against us and that will be the discussion as to why they did.
