I don’t believe them either. But it’s a decent negotiating hand which puts pressure on Israel.

 

Having so many hostages on a piece of land that's been pummeled into the ground was never going to be an easy feat for Hamas, it's become the noose around their neck, everytime the hostages are moved is a giveaway to their location, afterall you can't exactly miss a few hundred hostages being moved. If they harm the hostages, they lose their bargaining chips, Hamas are now cornered and know the IDF are coming in to finish them off...

 

The Israelis have raised their flag at the border with Egypt. Pretty much sending a message to Hamas that they’ve got them blocked in, now.
