The predictable faffing about in the defending end of the pitch, slow and ponderous to boot, leaves me feeling less than optimistic for next season. Whatever about players incoming and outgoing, does anyone feel we are in great hands tactically to get any further up the table next time round? Yes or No I would love to hear a reason why you think so.

If Liam is the student of the game we are lead to believe then he will have learnt from this season, if he can replicate our away form and improve our home form I expect further progress and a top 6 finish.

I’ve gained some faith in Rosenior after the last 5-6 games (not including Plymouth). We scored 3 goals a game in four of those games.

We are capable of playing more attacking football with more progressive passing. We don’t have to keep the ball in our own third for ages just to pad possession stats.

I still think Rosenior has a lot to learn.

A disappointing end to the season but deep down we all knew the writing was on the wall weeks ago. Some of the recent matches have been great to watch when the talent in the squad was allowed to express itself and not overplay defensively as much as in the first half of the season.

Still, the same problems resurfaced during the first half last Saturday, holding onto the ball too long at the back, unsure what to do, looking around at each other and the sidelines for inspiration. It never came, another occasion when the failed system had no successful plan B. Opponents have it all sussed out. It's a learning curve for everyone at the club but to be told to be patient and expect fans to be happy watching a style of play next season that stifles entertaining football is a big ask. If a system works then fine, stick with it. If it doesn't it needs changing and quickly.

I think for the most part we've been excellent since the Stoke game, and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching it. If you look at the progress since last season/start of this season it's night and day. He's also managed to improve nearly every member of the squad. Coyle is playing at a level I didn't think he was capable of, Greaves is one of the best CBs in the league, Jones/Slater are now reliable Championship players.

Managers need time, Liam is young and learning on the job, but I'm delighted he's the manager of my club.

Our performances during April (where we played seven games) were outstanding, fantastic attacking football and one of the form teams in the league.

I’m looking forward to us picking up where we left off next season.

I know all those 'boring' games I've had to endure this season...I was hiding in the bogs vs QPR, and Ipswich, couldn't stand too watch it...Yes, there have been some dogshit home performances, that have proved to be our Achilles heel but boring! Next season will be incredibly boring when the likes of Portsmouth, Derby, Blunts and Burnley reacquaint themselves in the Chumpionship....I'll be bored too tears...I'll have to book a trap in the bogs.

I just hope we know exactly where we are with the squad early on in the window. None of this time to gel malarkey. I dont want us hanging on until the last minute in the hope that ABC might choose us for a loan.

Players know the 'current' Hull City way and its up to the manager to make a proper fist of it this season. His win ratio with Hull City stands at a bleak 34.62% it needs to be a minimum 50% this season ... his overall managerial record is a win ratio of 37.78% incidentally.

We need to hit the ground running, not walking...

It would be nice to believe that Liam has learnt a lot this season and what it was that ultimately cost us a top 6 finish.

It goes without saying that we need to improve our home form. This is the main reason why we failed this year and its been a problem for a long time, it needs addressing in the summer. We need to play with more purpose, especially at home. Too often we watched us ticking down the clock, pissing around at the back waiting for the opposition to come on to us. This is great when your 3-0 up and trying to waste time.. not so good when your not winning and the opposition has figured out exactly what we're trying to do.

Say what you like about the support at home but what ive seen is the atmosphere matches the performance. If we start slow and play boring football, the atmosphere is flat. But as soon as we see something to get us off our seats the fans can be fantastic. In an ideal world it would be like this no matter what the performance.. but it is what it is. Liam should know by now from his time as a player and now a manager, that we want to see passion and effort from our team. Be brave, bold and go for the win and the fans will get behind you every time. Play slow, boring football and the atmosphere will mirror the performance.

Personally I dont see Liam changing much.. I think the improvements we saw towards the end of the season came from talks with Acun and Tan and possibly the players about how we play. Not sure if the rumours on here were true but we definitely saw an improvement once those talks took place. And this is my concern, what we saw towards the end of the season isnt how he wants us to play, what we've been seeing previous is. Hopefully he's taken note of whats been said to him and takes that into the new season. I have my doubts though..

If im truly honest, there's only a handful of games that ive enjoyed this season at home and thats what matters to me. Its great to be with family watching the football together, but it would be nice to enjoy what I was watching.

To seriously believe this, you have to never watch Rosie on the touchline and completely ignore what he says before and after games.

I can't think of many managers that get to a win % over 50% at our level.

A win ratio which was properly affected by lack of wins in the Premiership.
