If it isn't broken don't fix it.

Sammy and Fergie, two great young prospects to come in when needed. Things are still looking quite rosie.

  2. We should give him a bit more credit than that. Agreed Jonas has helped him quite a lot, but he's still be good for a lot of his matches.

Even with Jonas out? A main factor as to why Raylor is doing well is because of the support he's getting from Jonas.

Edit: Tash - I understand, but I'm still slightly concerned.

Jonas does help but I think everyone is slightly harsh on Raylor, plus we know that Sammy is more than capable of getting back and defending. Whenever he has played on the wing he has protected the full back very well.

Straight swap for Sammy. Or, if Best is back, put Benny out there.
I don't really know what we can do about Raylor; if he really struggles then I guess we throw Santon on in his place. But knowing what's happened already this season, I wouldn't be surprised if he puts in the game of his life and Simpson has a howler and we get people saying we need to throw Santon in at right-back!

After seeing the red card incident again on motd this morning i gotta say Jonas was a silly boy. he was down then gets up and lunges himself at the other guy, maybe he had forgotten he had already been booked. No complaints, it's the first time he's done something like that but it was silly and unprofessional. He should really apologise to his teammates. Also what ben arfa did early on...dunno how smart that was either.

I'd agree with that. Raylor at LB would be a bit of a liability without Jonas tracking back, but if he played ahead of Santon, he could track back himself and not be under too much pressure on his weaker side. Plus his crosses from the left this season have been pretty good

I actually thought he won the ball at first, saw a different angle and saw he got the man then only the ball with his trailing leg. Silly tackle but it's very rare(if ever) he has did it, can forgive him I think.
I loved the fact HBA confronted Rooney like that, shows he isn't scared to get stuck in, silly yellow to get but its HBA, he probably won't get many yellows for any other reason(would prefer him not to do it of course).

Fergie's the obvious choice for me, but I think Sammy will get the nod. Raylor LM and Santon LB's an interesting idea as well, but Ben Arfa still wont play on the wing.

Sammy's a bit too slow to be on the wing IMO ... I'd rather play Fergie or Santon or R.Taylor ...

    Krul
    Simpson Taylor Colo Santon
    Obertan Cabaye Guthrie/Tiote R.Taylor
    Arfa
    Ba

    or

    Krul
    Simpson Taylor Colo R.Taylor
    Obertan Cabaye Guthrie/Tiote Santon
    Arfa
    Ba

    or

    Krul
    Simpson Taylor Colo R.Taylor
    Obertan Cabaye Guthrie/Tiote Ferguson
    Arfa
    Ba

Santon to start regardless. For me, it's between Raylor and Ferguson to play LW.

Sammy for Jonas straight swap. Why do you have Ba in goal and Krul up front?

Sammy Ameobi was **** against Man Utd, I'd be very concerned about him starting a game against Chelsea.

Yeah agree with this ... When you're a winger you should either have pace or a really good delivery and unfortunately he hasn't got any . I see his future as an AM to be honest ...

He did have majority of this time on the pitch having to defend though, made a few good touches.
He has troubled Chelsea before as well.

He has plenty of pace, to be fair none of our wingers have good delivery.

Is Jonas even suspended? Is two yellow cards a ban?

    A red card( 2 yellows ) is a 1 game ban.
