Not sure I understand Spurs desire to not play in the CL next year.

Slim opportunity to not have to do it against City, adding in Villa losing, and they implode against us and Chelsea.
 
People question Gakpo, but he's by far the most like Firmino striker we have at the club. He holds the ball up, provides some height up front and can play the clever little passes Bobby used to.

This front three is by far more suited to each other than most of our combinations. Two wide runners with a central striker.

I think all 5 strikers are very different which is why when fit we have an incredible strike force ready for all occasions.

You’d hope with a Dutch manager he’ll come alive even more next season. I do think as a focal point up top he’s a better fit than Nunez as his touch and link up and footballing IQ is higher.
