Their plan is clearly to isolate Royal with Salah, not that it needs a genius to work it out.

Which means the midfield need to be much more alert to the threat. And while Royal was at fault for the goal, Bentancur and Bissouma are doing absolutely nothing, jogging around aimlessly marking space instead of helping the defenders.

The midfield is completely broken.

 

Why are we persisting in Son on his own up front? And why persist with Kulusevski who is so clearly out of any form.

 

Bissouma and Sarr definite improvement, but Royal is such a liability!
