It’s a good point like. Scoring is not the problem this season. Defenders are priority. Getting a GK, CB and LB are priorities and in that order probably given we are losing possibly 3 keepers.
We don’t need a left back in my opinion. Hall as first choice with Burn/Murphy as back up Even Tino could slot In We need a striker, a gk and a top drawer cb. I would also like to see a RW s well. I don’t expect to get all 4 positions though as we’ll sign a midfielder. Only way we get all the above is if we were to sell a Bruno or an Isak for silly money
We are mate he's entitled to his view it's just not what I'm getting at. Wilson will need replacing he's injury prone, he's lost his pace and is cracking on, but money is the issue for Newcastle and a striker will blow the budget almost entirely I would imagine. If Guimareas leaves it would change things, but we'd need a world class cm just to stand still.
It's semantics, it's early in the morning and I'm still hungover, oh course he hasn't stayed injury free, the fact he's had injuries obviously shows that. He's having a good run of being fit which is encouraging, and he seems stronger on the pitch now; initially he looked like an injury waiting to happen, but I don't see that anymore from him. Obviously we need new defenders as well, everyone knows that.
It's not my fault if you say what you mean it would have been easier. It's hardly my fault for pointing out an error. What's the priority though ?
Priority last summer was for a CD and for some stupid reason it didn't happen so that's obviously a priority now. In order - at least 2 defenders (Fulham guy and another), striker, and midfielder to replace Longstaff.
You'll say that but you won't take a season long avy and username bet on Newcastle getting him will you?
I dunno, are we upgrading Pope now? If we do it's gonna be a first choice keeper to replace Pope, and Pope ain't gonna be on the bench, so he'll leave.
