Glad we hadn't picked up a win in one of our last few weeks dropped point in, if that had happened with a genuine shout of going up if be mortified , as it is, 7th is a real improvement and you'd think we'll be starting next year in a better place than we started this season, opportunity to clear out a few. Will miss a few of the loan signings for sure, I've got a feeling we may get delap back, with his injury he's not really ended up setting the league alight so I can't see a prem team in for him, there are always loads of good young players who need a loan team tho and the way we've brought a few of them on this year will give other teams faith in us to develop theirs too. League will be strong again but the 3 coming down are a long way off the 3 that came down last year in terms of squad and spending power so that's a bit of a bonus. Can't wait for august!

We only had Carvalho, Omur, Giles, Ohio, Sharp etc since January.

Lengthy injuries to Philogene & Delap. We’ve been unlucky, no way have we under achieved.

There is no 'stopping of the clock' I've been trying since my first game at Boothferry in 1967.

Am I imagining this or was the stated ambition at the start of the season to achieve a top 10 finish and push for promotion 24/25?
Ok, so we got to Jan and they decided to have a punt at the playoffs, always going to be a high risk option, new players needing to hit the ground running. Anyway they had a go and it nearly worked. Good for them I say, I've enjoyed it and we'll go again in August. UTT!

If I was Acun, I would be lining up LRs replacement.

There have been so many boring games at the KC this year.

There is far too much emphasis on trying to force the opposition to make defensive errors rather than being offensive with the ball when we are in possession.

Rarely do we ever look like getting more than one goal in front of the opposition, and that’s been the reason for so many dropped points at home this season.

I think when you consider the margins in games where we’ve been too safe considering the attacking talent we’ve had I think it’s pretty fair. Progress nonetheless

Fair enough, probably not a lot. Good luck to all those clubs.

    Except Leeds of course.

And Norwich for what they’ve done to us this season.

And West Brom can **** off anarl.

In the cases of Birmingham and Sunderland I bet their fans regret their management changes. It's cost them dearly.

I was astonished when we didn't sack McCann at the end of the down tools season but sticking with him saw us promoted immediately. Don’t like to think where the club could be now if we hadn’t have come straight back up.

All I’m saying is that clubs who sack their managers, expecting quick improvements don’t always get them.

Well that was a big let down and a huge anti-climax after last weeks scintillating performance against Ipswich. All credit to Plymouth. We never looked like scoring never mind winning. Caravallo was gash and even my personal favorite Tufan could not impact the game (not that he was gash). And Delap did not live up to his billing as our savior, but, not sure why he came off at half time. His replacement seems to me like he was auditoning to be a Delap repalcement going forward and made some Delap style plays without the same finess. Maybe he can get there if so the management team shouild be in a good positiion by now to know that, I certainly dont. We seemed not to apply a press during the game probably because when Plymouth went forward they attacked quciky down the wings before we could press? Overall on the day a big downer but as others have said the season was not lost today. Season wise significant progress has been made under LR we now need to push on next season.

All we had to do today was come out the blocks at speed and take the noise out of the crowd, hopefully score an early goal, ( they are near bottom cos they are crap ) that then puts the pressure on West Brom, what happened, the same that’s happened 10-15 times this season we **** about at the back allow the other team to come at us.

We did **** all today, Roseniors fault, those fans who travelled must be furious, I am and I’m at home, **** Rosenior.

Just keeping my fingers crossed now that Grant McCunt and his **** Donny team crash out of the playoffs or it will be a truly shocking week.
