Every year I fall further away from the flat, absolute lottery most of these early season races. Big guineas meeting and majority of the winners are big priced no hopers on paper, there was a 50/1 winner in a 6 runner race yesterday, what chance ye got.

Can never really write off Appleby and Buick in these races, but by his standards he’d been having a poor meeting up til just winning that. He had 2 shorties basically tailed off yesterday and more horses finishing nearer last than first.
