So Will Still is no longer still Reims manager. I wonder if Will Still will still be in management after this stint, as I believe Will Still still hasn’t got his UEFA licence so any club that hires Will Still will still have to pay a fine each game.

In a way, neither team have anything to play for.

Surely Spurs aren’t going to make it 4 defeats in a row?

I think our record at Anfield is only slightly better than what it is at Stamford Bridge so I mean…

Plus, Liverpool have been on a slump of late so Dr Tottenham has to provide them with treatment.

They also signed Eric Choupo-Moting in 2017 and he's on Bayern's books.

Chelsea 2 Spurs 0. After showing the white flag maybe we should send our team to see our Brazilian "star's" psyciatrist and get sorted out!?

Bournemouth fans must be really enjoying their coverage on AFTV TNT Sports.

    From the BBC:

Thomas: An Arsenal player diving and leaving a trailing leg to try and initiate contact. Some things never change.
    Christian: No penalty!

This was my issue with VAR when it was introduced.
The ref's initial decision has far too much influence, so the old problems haven't gone away.
Some sides get those decisions and others don't. VAR doesn't intervene.

It's not bent...just wrong. The criterion for the VAR intervening should be that he wouldn't have made the same decision having seen the replay. The Ref can then decide.

It's bent. The refs shouldn't be making different decisions for different teams. They are.

Should be a penalty to Bournemouth and a red card, but the ref gives a foul to Arsenal and disallows Bournemouth's goal.
A vague touch on the keeper, which doesn't compare to anything Vicario's taken. Nonsense.
VAR turns off their sound to the TV coverage and then agrees with the ref.

I don't think they are deliberately biased...but the way the Laws are written and the constant gamesmanship by the players puts them under too much pressure.

Would Vicario have been given the decision we've just seen?

That's far too simplistic. We watch almost every week different decisions for similar incidents. As PNP has said they are managing an event rather than refereeing a football game. Sometimes they let the game flow which is fun and they get praise for it. THEN they clamp down as they see the game disintegrate because of letting too many things go. So you end up in the SAME game with two levels of judging. One player gets off another doesn't.
The gamesmanship has been fostered by the way the refs handle the games and the constant tinkering with the rules.
Take the fouling of Vicario as one example, among hundreds, he is given no protection from the ref and basically told to man up. Yet many years ago they stopped tackling or shoving of goalkeepers. When I played (Yes a long time ago) You could charge the goalkeeper put him and the ball in the net and get a goal. Nat Lofthouse scored such a famous goal in the FA Cup Final against Man U. Then they changed the rules so you could hardly get near the keeper. Now all of sudden it's ok to push the keeper about as the ball comes in from a corner or free kick. Or in another game it's not. As you say the rules play a part, the trouble is the refs and VAR seem to make them up on the hoof.

Has anybody counted how many potential penalties Spurs were NOT given this season?
