When Craig Bellamy left and later joined City he came back and scored against us at Anfield.I believe he should start against Manchester city on Sunday. I hope all the players that started against Chelsea should be there also. Craig Bellamy can be the match winner. Comments.
Bellamy gets a from me....he'll know exactly how to wind up the ****eh defenders (hopefully not getting himself sent off in the process mind you).....did anyone else notice him giving Terry a load of chat on Sunday it was hilarious, even after the ref had been talking to him for about twenty seconds he's still giving Terry some verbals over the refs shoulder
Peaceful Spurs fan here. I think that you stand a very good chance of beating City on Sunday and I wish you luck with it.
MATCH FACTS Manchester City have only won one of their last 12 Premier League games against Liverpool (W1 D5 L6). The Citizens haven’t won at Anfield in their last eight Premier League visits (D2 L6). Andy Carroll has scored four goals in five Premier League games against Manchester City. Man City have now scored two or more goals in each of their last 14 Premier League games, a record for the division. Sergio Aguero has 10 goals in 11 Premier League appearances this season. Excluding games against Manchester United, Liverpool have lost just one of their last 41 north west derbies at Anfield (W30 D10 L1). Liverpool have allowed their opponents fewer shots on target against them than any other side in the Premier League (41). Liverpool were the last team to stop Manchester City from scoring in the Premier League. Since then, City have netted in 18 consecutive games, accruing a total of 52 goals. Liverpool were also the last team to score more than two goals against City, with Roberto Mancini’s men shipping just 14 in their last 18 games. Mario Balotelli has scored five goals in four Premier League starts this season
I don't see any reason in changing the team that beat Chelsea. We just need to make sure we play like we did in the first half for the whole game.
We're all scared, Kowalski.... Actually I'm not. I do think we need the same approach as the Chelsea game, mind. Just hope KK doesn't over-think it. And Bellamy has to be in the side... GKRK.
Craig Bellamy may not play at all today now, as news of his international manager Gary Speed has passed away today.
