Southampton have been poor when the pressure is on, they might get shaky in the playoffs This is like Jesse is back in charge, spaces all through the middle, no shape and everyone playing as an individual rather than team
Be realistic... did ANYONE really think that the dogs would get a result at Ipswich....mental health check needed if so
at least we have the excitement of the playoffs ahead. If We’d kept cousin Jesse we’d be a boring mid table side in the prem with everyone complaining we weren’t top 6
No but I was hoping for a reaction to the poor performance at QPR so we go into the play offs with a bit of confidence. This is about as wobbly as I've seen us this season against a Southampton side who have been ****e recently.
No I did not and I didn't even think we could beat Southampton. So yes, we should have rested all the players. Then maybe we could have a chance to get up through playoff
Just can't believe how poor we have become, it's actually worse than relegation form, anyone with a really sensible idea of where it's now going wrong?
One thing I've noticed over the last few weeks is, we've stopped working as hard. All our opponents when they lose the ball, quickly take up their defensive formation, I know at times our slow play helps them but when we lose the ball whilst attacking, the front four just stand ball watching, no urgency to get back, they just amble their way back to the half way line, we're so open down the centre to the counter attack, it's ludicrous.
11 good players don’t change to 11 bad players 4/5 of the way through a season. Down to tactics, formation, training, selection, this is at Farkes feet. Some players seem to be allowed to ride through games when they should be hauled off and dropped
