Depending how many younger academy players you are talking about playing, as clubs can still get into trouble for fielding weakened sides.
Roberts does do well against sheff wed, only reason why he is starting as hes been shocking recently (actually shocking all season)
I agree in Kelly he looks like a standout player every time in watch the under 21's, and Rigg should be starting. Not sure on Ba every time I watch him just doesn't do enough. Just my opinion though
I am spinning this naff team selection. Try this. New coach is watching and Dodds has been told pick a core of the players he thinks will be here next year. New fella in the dressing room right now saying show me what you have got. Alternatively Dodds cant help himself anymore and is so frazzled in his thinking he does the same old same old.
Not exactly sure we could get much weaker than being the 2nd worst team in the league in 2024. Dack being on the bench ahead of academy players is a disgrace as well.
Give one or two a chance to show what they can do, can anyone tell me that Roberts no goals for a year and one assist can justify a start, with him and Jobe up front O/9 and Ballard are in for a tough 90 mins. Sorry RTB to sound so negative, just lets hope this is Dodds last game , and next season is more worthy of your efforts because this one certainly hasn't. got anywhere near imo.
Important point this. If we make a load of changes and get rolled over teams will ask questions. Integrity and all that. I Rigg had been in for Ekwah and Ba for Roberts as a starter it would have been ok.
Makes no difference, there are still rules about playing weakened sides especially when there are still teams fighting relegation. I would have had Rigg starting and a couple more kids on the bench. I agree on Dack, he won't be here next season so pointless having him on the bench
He's playing a weekend team if you ask me! Roberts has been stinking all season he's not playing a striker and he's playing players out of positionagain for no reason.
I'm looking forward to Dodds stepping down. At the very least it'll be someone different for people to be negative about.
Ugbo is the one to watch today, hes made a hell of a difference to this Wednesday side, and is what we are missing badly. Our front 4 today are a shambles no other words for it. Our only hope today is that Jack Clarke is back to his pre injury form.
