BTW Well done for Sholing escaping relegation - by 1 point & goal difference !!! Squeaky bum time Dorchester had a great 2024 and weren't far from the play-offs Looking forward to seeing them next season, they've been playing well since Tommy Killick (Mgr) arrived
Does that mean two DMs with Stephens alongside Downes, or five at the back? Either way HE'S ACTUALLY CHANGED SOMETHING (a little too late in the day, but there we go...)
Interesting team. Can't work out the formation. 3-5-2? 5-2-3? Stephens in midfield? Who knows, it's certainly different.
Somewhat odd thing to do at this point, but I guess if it works he might use it in the playoffs. But doing something (ie, changing the system to counteract the strength of the opposition) is something that many of us have been crying out for all season. To do it in a dead rubber on the last game is....annoying.
Interesting. 3-5-2? 5-3-2? 4-2-3-1? Or a 4-3-3 with a defender in midfield and a midfielder up front? Or chaos with no one knowing where they should be and who they are supposed to be marking?
Either that or it's a decoy ahead of the playoffs. Although he kind of talked against that being relevant the other day. He does like to play games in his press conferences though.
As others have alluded to, it's really not clear what our formation might be. I'm looking forward to finding out. I have three which particularly come to mind. 5-3-2 (or 3-5-2, whatever you want to call it). Or Ralph's 4-2-2-2. Or the usual 4-3-3, but with KWP at RW.
