It'll be a 5am start for me from Yorkshire. Should really be asleep by now... absolutely no chance of that !
No point getting a VPN for tomorrow, I have to be in work early for a couple of hours. It will be the full show replay for me tomorrow afternoon/ evening. Enjoy the match everyone, shame I can't enjoy it live with you but here's hoping we get promoted. Come on lads!!!
Easier over here where football scores aren't plastered everywhere. I have a German friend at work who has been following Ipswich since we started talking football a couple of years ago and he just randomly took an interest. Now he's checking scores and the league table etc but good at not saying anything if he knows the result already. We've pretty much enjoyed the last two seasons or more together. Got my new boss into it too as he likes English football. I make sure to have ITFC.co.uk notifications off so I'm not pinged when there's a goal and then just have to stay off 606, twtd and BBC football and I'm good. My son has been setting me up to watch the replays for ages and also gives nothing away. He puts the replay into fullscreen and I chill with a beer or five. It's not so bad but I definitely enjoy it more when I'm watching live and chatting on here in real time with you lot. Certainly a better service now than Ifollow.
I have got a hunch that if we do go up to the Prem, in style not a whimper today, then Gamechanger might ask us to go on an exhibition tour in the USA. Not sure if that would be a good or bad thing. Great for SD of course!
I'd absolutely go over to Arizona if they organised something with Phoenix Rising or anything else local enough, like LA teams or whatever, maybe even Las Vegas. San Diego actually has a new team/franchise starting in the MLS next season so I'm thinking of getting season tickets for that. Pretty sure we could create a great atmosphere in the stadium with all the Mexicans that are likely to be going. We already have Alex Morgan playing for the local women's team here but I haven't been to any matches yet. This city needs some sports, the Padres are terrible, although they did reach the baseball play off season last year and are well supported but generally they are crap, and the Chargers left for LA a couple of years ago. They have a second division men's football team and the women's team are in the top league NWSL. Rugby is starting to take off here too.
I presume that's American soccer not football! I remember going to a football game featuring the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Braves I think, back in 1968. What an atmosphere and I learnt a lot! And Sir Bobby was our manager with Mick Mills! God I remember those days!
Seems a lot of nerves on here, let's be honest, if you put in your worst performance of the season, you'd still get a draw. Relax folks and enjoy it. I can just imagine it now, you're 1 down with 5 to go and the Hudds fans singing, let them score, let them score, let them score.
Wonder if anyone would like to see our six fingered friends join us in the prem (IF we go up automatically)...be a nice 6 points for us
