Shame if Patto misses out, but no great hardship giving Bishop a go. Was hoping for a glorious sunny day for our last home game, but it's looking a bit dull and damp out. Still think we will nick the 3 points today and looks like the club have got everything spot on in memory of Charlie Hurley. Haway the lads, one last effort
Would give the jersey to young if patto misses out and hes available, got to find out if he’s up to it and let’s face it it’s a pretty meaningless game for us. Everyone’s thoughts will be on big Charlie
I didn't think Young would be eligible after his loan spell? If he is available them I agree, get him in and let's see how he does
Would be nice to see some changes today. Posted on another thread. Looking forward to the celebration of the life of the King. Banner should be good.
I'm genuinely torn about whether to go today. I've got the 'rona but feel well enough to attend. On one hand I'm thinking it's outdoors so should be okay, on the other I imagine how I would feel if the person next to me turned up and sat next to me for 2 hours knowing they had covid.
Where's the 'don't care, let's just get it over with' option? We're just as likely to turn up and play well as we are to sack it off because there's no pressure.
I can’t see us getting anything out of it unfortunately, form table over the last 6 games has Sheff Wed 2nd and we are 17th…they have really hit form lately whereas we are getting worse. I’m just hoping we have a go at them today, nothing to play for but a bit of pride now. None of this defensive ****e and sideways passing.
Strange game today. Sheff Wed need at least a point to stay up and are in much better form than us. It's the last home game of the season and some of our fans might want to express their feelings. Then there's the opportunity to celebrate the King, one of the great players of this club. We also have the potential last game for Jack Clarke who would deserve a lot of appreciation. Finally there's the possibility of some of our younger players getting an opportunity. Hopefully the performance on the pitch is good enough that the fans can celebrate our players, past, present and future. 1-1 for me Clarke with a farewell goal for us.
