please log in to view this image Leeds United v Southampton Saturday 4th May@12:30pm | Elland Road Leeds have only a glimmer of a chance of automatic promotion when the Saints visit Elland Road on Saturday lunchtime for the season finale! The Whites need to beat Southampton, and for relegated Huddersfield Town to beat Ipswich at Portman Road if they are go get promoted via the automatic route, which is highly unlikely. Speculation is growing over what kind of line-up both teams go with (Leeds and Southampton). This could very well be the dress rehearsal for the play off final, and both Managers will be keen to gain any kind of advantage over the other in what many expect to be the play off final at Wembley! please log in to view this image Leeds will not risk Dan James until the play off's. The explosive winger is suffering from a costal cartilage injury (a rib injury). Long term injury casualty Pascal Struijk is joined on the sidelines by Jamie Shackleton. Just like James, Patrick Bamford (bruised knee) and Connor Roberts (muscular issue) are unlikely to be risked over what is expected to be a dead rubber. Glen Kamara may come in to midfielder to give Ilia Gruev a rest! There is also talk of Liam Cooper starting his final match for Leeds Utd at the expense of Joe Rodon who continues to take main killing injections for a back injury. Southampton will be missing Ross Stewart, Stuart Armstrong, Gavin Bazunu and Juan Larios. Adam Armstrong, Che Adams and Flynn Downes could all potentially return having missed the loss to Stoke last weekend at St Mary's.
Hey Ristac Just took a gander at the Ipswich board, and read your post on their from Tuesday Evening, Be bloody typical with your possible prediction that Hudders beat Ipswich 0-1 and then Leeds fail to beat Southampton, that is the worst league ending scenario i can think of, gonna have nightmares about that now till Saturday thank you.

Last time Southampton lost 4 in a row they went on a 20 odd game unbeaten run. Important we put a stop to their current form
Not confident at all about this game or the play offs. It will be interesting to see what happens to the loan crew next season. I think we have to get some cash in to balance the books, unlike Leicester who didn't give a fk about ffp and have benefitted from it. Glad Ipswich are going up but it shouldn't be with the cheaters.
Morning all. 5.30 am and boarding our bus. Will see some of youg at some point. Don’t forget its been a cracking season whatever way it ends
Hope you have a good journey Eire, and that you get to see a good game no matter what the outcome ends up being
That's means the Ipswich keeper will need to wear a cap or else be blinded by the long high balls that Udders will launch at him. Whilst Southampton will have no idea how to play in the gloom against us, they will be shivering and frozen like statues. God I talk some bollocks
****ing QPR, my own fault for not wanting it decided on the last day and assuming we’d be top 2 and comfortable. We should be anxious, nervous and excited all rolled into one and instead it’s virtually a dead rubber game.
