All 4 currently in the play off spots look to be trying their best to cock up their chances. Whether it's your lot missing out on automatics, Soton and WBA having not won their last 3 or Norwich struggling to pick up a win. None will be going into the playoffs on a high. I don't think there's anyone to be scared of in that lot.
I think we’ve seen some really good improvements in the attacking play, but it’s come at the cost of conceding a lot (7 in the last five). It’s been a bit of a sprint finish in my mind, ending the marathon of the season. I think we’ve needed everything that came before the way we’re playing now (league position, confidence controlling games etc.) to put us in a position to feel like we can do this. It’s felt like a cup run game-by-game mentally, in the same way teams down at the bottom manage to find something within themselves to string results together at the end of the season – a reactionary way to play, not a proactive one. I’m watching City on the TV, WBA losing/we're still drawing - understandably I'm fraught with tension and nerves, when unexpectedly there’s a playful knock at the front door. Upon answering, my buxom scantily clad neighbour sashays past me explaining that she needs a new firestick and...
We are playing really good football at the moment and for the good of football us beating West Brom for 6th is the best thing all round. West Brom would get hammered by Leeds and the games will be dull and one sided. Our games against Leeds on the other hand will be exciting and lots of attacking football. Come on football Gods do the right thing.
I want us in playoffs cause i wanna see greaves and carvalho etc atleast a couple more times in a city shirt N maybe delap n ohio :x Please win preston Please
No, we have a 100% success rate in the Championship play offs, done it twice from 3rd and 4th placing, not 6th mind, but recently outplayed Leeds at Elland Road and we fear no one.
Donny have successfully appealed against the red card received by Thimothée Lo-Tutala against Gillingham and he'll now be available for the playoffs.
Outside the box sure but was it a clear and obvious scoring opportunity? Ball was heading out of play I reckon and there were 3 Doncaster defenders back.
Stop ****ting your pants. Put your feet up and enjoy the final FOUR games of the season. Due to an absence of yarrow stalks, I took to an online oracle to skip a few weeks into the future and save on the old nerves.
