I think the point is, for a centre half with good ball skills, good attacking qualities and who loves to surge forward, he’s being linked to the two managers who are most likely to strangle that freedom from him and play as an old fashioned defender. Of course he will improve playing in the premier league and they are both very good managers. Show me where anyone said otherwise.
They are in in 3rd or 4th place in Bundesliga 2 and challenging for promotion so they will not be getting relegated. 60,000+ is a pretty good attendance in the second division. Similar sized city to Hull, 263,000, with Borussia Dortmund only 30 miles away so very impressive crowds.
Better than Docherty. Also adds a bit of bite to midfield that’s sorely lacking. Has occasionally played more advanced this season for Northampton but is a defensive mid or box-to-box by trade. Could also be a long-term replacement for the likes of Seri. £300k is a steal.
Don’t know where I got that from. Yes, they will in **** street if they do go down. Their league position in the second division makes their crowds even better.
He’s just a perfect midfielder for us really at this stage. Very mobile AND very technical. Think Brighton had they got europe again would’ve kept him around
As others have said, their debts are such that if they are relegated they will be bumped down to the regional leagues, they aren’t solvent enough to be allowed into Bundesliga.3.
We should support them, founded same year as us. Just reading about them, Wasn't that long ago that Gazprom were promising to pump millions in. It has one of the worst unemployment rates in Germany since all the coal mines shut down.
