What the hell it’s the hope that kills you Ipswich 0 Huddersfield 1 Could see this happening and Leeds still failing to beat Southampton
A superb final game of a long, memorable season, in which our beloved Club shows all its flair, passion, excitement and thrills in front of a hysterical packed PR! 3-0 glorious win.
One thing you notice joining in on other forums, all fans are pretty much the same. Lose a game, a finger always points at someone to blame The keeper is usually at fault Typical “insert team name”. Like you, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ipswich lost and we lose or draw
Whatever happens on Saturday both teams deserve to go up. We have had an almighty battle between us all season. If you are consigned to the Play-offs then the majority of Town fans will be wanting you to knock Norwich out in the final.
They held us to a draw at their place earlier in the season and it could have gone either way so I'm not taking them for granted.
Congratulations guys!!! Terrific season, and back to back promotions with only a small budget - that's blood good going. I thought you'd fall away in the second half of the season, but you regrouped, and kept churning out results. You've deserved 2nd place!!
Got back from Hull at 2 30 Sunday morning then off to Cov and this morning ive lost my voice, we didnt play well but Cov are a good side as are Hull so 4 points achieved and on to Saturday, i know its only 1 point needed but lets not take anything for granted and go for it like we did a year ago v Exeter.
Thanks Elland, we havent got the skillful players that some Clubs have but our boys keep going to the very end, i know on other boards some people think we are lucky because we score late goals but if it happens regularly its not luck.
We were there on that wet dreary day in a wet dreary town and yes it could have gone either way, i think Williams scored for us ?
You make a great point there. These are two very good sides back to back, both carry a big threat, one looks to just miss out on the play offs by a fraction and the other gave Manchester United a footballing lesson - and we’ve got what we needed away from home. Incredible effort. Was really impressed with how we picked the ball off better in the second half and made it really hard and frustrating for them trying to get in. It was the key to winning the game.
