Good game lads, managed to catch the Grant Holt goal. I have just got back from the pub and laughed at all my angry Arsenal mates pissed off about not battering Fulham, this league has many twists and turns you can never predict the results I look forward to the rest of the season. Good luck to QPR apart from when we meet next.

If you play like that at Loftus Rd I fancy us to put 3 or 4 past you.

At the beginning of the season we'd have had that game down as a six pointer. However now, can't help but think we're both <touching wood> going to be ok this season. Still early days but two teams where they are on merit. Good luck to us both. Two Premier League originals that I believe should be playing at the top table. Long may it continue.

You've clearly not heard any of his post-match interviews either this season or last Beef

And I'm not talking about the 5 second sound bites selected by MOTD

Abuse isn't what this board is about!

How about a reasoned post based on your attendance at yesterday's match?

Errr I heard the whole post match interview where he claimed Norwich won because you were crap and Norwich capitalised on it and took the chances, at no point did he say the better team on the day won. There might have been something nice in there at some point (I believe there was pre-match) but I was distracted by two orrible kids!!)

Simple fact is Warnock has done enough in the past to pee off City fans

A lunch from Delia was cooked for the tie,
but I'm back on here to eat humble pie.
My words for your canaries were toast.
and now its you who can boast.

The hoops were ok but were left in a stew,
for the yellow and greens scored not one but two !!
I'd thought upfront you would need a pill,
so much to surprise the crowd you did thrill.

Now its first blood to you the table to rise,
but when next at Loftus you'll get no prize,
The sides at the bottom look certain to drop,
so rest assured you're no one season flop.

Probably because they didn't. Neither team was clearly better than the other but I thought we edged it playing the better football and carving chances of our own whereas the vast majority of yours came from one or more of our defenders doing something stupid.

Well, it was a tight game. We played some different players and it wasn't working really. Delaet was hot and cold again and surman looked ineffective. Jackson looked quite up for it though. We made and error and gifted you a goal I couldn't see you scoring otherwise. Wes and Holty were the difference. Wes immediately ran the midfield and they looked so much sharper for it. Surman was instantly brought more into the game and Holt, he's just an inspiration. He'll always be in the right place to get a goal. Morrison and Holt looked ace together and I'm thinking it's our best strike option.

QPR I thought were poor and I'm being honest. I don't hate your football club I just hate your manager. You'll inevitably get a ton of cash in January but you can't buy what Norwich have. A togetherness that refuses to be beat.

And I believe Warnock says you were "mugged" by Norwich and called grant holt a cheat last season. I'm afraid we managed to rest some players and still beat you. You've got a long way to go yet to get that team gelled. It does look a bit individually atm.

Can I take issue with this? The stats read

    Attempts on target
    Norwich 8
    QPR 4

    Attempts off target
    Norwich 7
    QPR 9

Norwich had a total of 15 chances - that is a lot of very, very bad defending wasn't it?

Our team spirit is very good. You don't put in the sort of battling performance we did at Stoke or run City so close without togetherness. Without Taarabt there's no-one who doesn't put a good shift in.

To be fair, he wasn't wrong about Holt. Even the most ardent of Norwich fans would admit he has a tendency to fall over a bit too easily.

Lambert didn't rest anyone. He played what he thought was his strongest team and did very well to change it. We had our two first choice keepers out and the third wasn't 100% fit, our two best strikers and the captain and main creator in midfield. It's not an excuse but you seem to be doing what the media do by portraying yourself as 'plucky' Norwich who defy all the odds on a shoestring while we are 'moneybags' Rangers splashing cash on luxury players when really we have two similar teams brought in for a similar amount of money.

Obviously some of your chances came from good play. The one where Morison mugged Ferdinand and the two goals particularly spring to mind as being very avoidable from our point of view.

That was not the strongest starting line up by an stretch of the imagination WR. Surman has not been playing because he has not been good enough, Crofts has not been playing, De Laet has not been playing, Jackson has not been playing - these guys, until yesterday have had virtually only cameo roles this season.
